When most people shop for a vehicle, they focus on one thing...
The monthly payment.
And while that's important, it's not the only cost that matters.
Before you buy, ask yourself these questions:
- 💰 How much will insurance be?
- ⛽ What kind of gas does it take?
- 🔧 How much does routine maintenance cost?
- 🛞 How expensive are the tires?
- 📉 Will it hold its value over time?
Sometimes the vehicle with the lower payment actually costs more to own in the long run.
That's why I always encourage people to look at the total cost of ownership, not just the payment.
A few extra minutes of planning can save you thousands of dollars over the life of your vehicle.
If you're comparing vehicles and aren't sure which one makes the most financial sense, I'd be happy to help you break it all down.
